Perfection means never settling for anything less than the best. Discover the world-class recovery technology that helps Cristiano stay unstoppable.
To be named Portugal’s greatest soccer player requires remarkable physical ability, dominance over the competition, and an uncompromising pursuit of perfection. But for Therabody Athlete, Cristiano Ronaldo, it doesn't stop there.
To maintain his position as one of the world’s top athletes, Cristiano prioritizes a whole body approach to health and incorporates only the best technology into his wellness routine - Theragun. With Theragun, he is able to optimize how he recovers in order to get back onto the pitch faster, stronger, and perform at an untouchable level every match.
By taking care of his body and focusing on his recovery as much as his plays, Cristiano consistently pushes his performance to new heights, cementing his legacy as one of soccer's all-time greats.
For a more efficient warm up, target your quads, hamstrings, and calves with the Theragun for 15 seconds each. This increases circulation and generates heat in the fast twitch muscles that support quick bursts of lateral movement, as well as the muscle groups that support your stride.
Before a match, focus on your feet to help increase mobility and support fast footwork. With the Cone attachment, apply your Theragun to the sole of your foot, sweeping the entire length of your foot for 30 seconds. Then, switch to the other foot.
Maximize your recovery and come back even stronger with 30 seconds each on your feet, shins, calves, hamstrings, and quads using the Dampener attachment. Then switch to the Wedge attachment and sweep along your left and right IT band for 30 seconds each.
Cristiano was the first athlete that Dr. Jason had seen use Theragun’s Cone attachment on the sole of his foot, which led him to create a new Theragun protocol - one of the most commonly used today.
