"This model doesn't seem quite as powerful as the previous professional model. I can't use the attachments from the older model, specifically the one for sensitive areas. This doesn't seem to have the same amount of percussion. The heated head is nice. I don't understand the LED lights. The ice attachment is completely pointless at least from a massage therapist point of view."

"The gun doesn’t work properly and it reads a cooling error. I suspect it’s why the original was returned and it was never repaired properly. There is no customer service number to call so you have to send an email and wait for them to respond. At this price point, one would expect a better product and customer service response. Super disappointed at best"

Whether it’s deep tissue work on legs and glutes after workouts or lighter recovery on shoulders and neck, switching attachments actually makes a noticeable difference. It feels closer to a professional recovery tool than a typical massage gun. 2. Red light therapy feature is a standout The built-in near-infrared LED (red light) therapy elevates this beyond a standard percussion gun. It adds a recovery layer aimed at improving circulation and reducing soreness while you massage, so you’re combining therapies instead of stacking multiple devices. For people who train regularly or deal with stiffness, this feature genuinely makes the device feel more advanced than competitors. 3. Power and build quality It’s powerful — noticeably stronger and smoother than cheaper massage guns. The ergonomic handle helps reach awkward areas without wrist strain, and the refurbished unit still feels premium and solidly built. Where it loses a star The value proposition is questionable. Even refurbished, this is still an expensive recovery tool. Yes, you’re getting multiple therapies in one device, but realistically, many users may only use percussion massage most of the time. If you’re not consistently using the red light therapy or switching attachments often, the price starts to feel inflated compared to mid-range massage guns that cost significantly less. In short: Excellent device? Yes. Best value for everyone? Not necessarily. But you’re paying for premium innovation — and unless you fully use those extra features, it may feel slightly overpriced.
